Cheqout is a mobile web app that allows restaurant customers to place an order and pay by scanning a QR code from a placard on their table. Once they scan the QR-code their phone browser is redirected to a website displaying the mobile menu of the restaurant. After a guest places an order from our mobile website, the order appears in the restaurant's POS system along with the table number that it was sent from. When the food is ready, a server can bring the food to the customer without ever having to take an order or bring the customer a check. Cheqout directly integrates with the restaurant's POS system, which allows us to avoid adding any new hardware or tablets to the restaurant's existing ordering system.
